< Chingay > our very own – Singapore yearly estate festive celebration through arts, music and dance in varied cultural, traditional and acrobatic performances, with diverse performers traversing on the road in vehicles and/or human movements while there are always many eager and curious spectators alongside of the paths watching and enjoying every display progressing past them.
Reflecting the country multi-racial society in an inclusive manner accompanied by colourful costumes and creative props while showing the communities bonding in unity, harmony and happiness.
It has also garnered more participation from other countries in this annual event.
Whether we are performers or spectators, the smiles, joy and cheers from each participant and onlooker captured on screen mark that < Chingay > spirit which is fostered as one through the dazzle and illuminated stories in every theme.
It’s a platform for shared experiences; be it national or across a few other nations. Our pride in connecting people and culture, in togetherness as one. Some could blossom with happiness while the others could steal your hearts.
WISH FOR THIS YEAR – Upon the stars, all of us will shine and we should look forward to Peace, Harmony and Unity for Singapore and the World at Large.
